In my hurry to get home in time for Easter, I was only able to stay with Kathy for a night. But she was ever so gracious to let me stay, and she even made me breakfast the next day. I was able to meet her husband and younger son, as well as their two cats and chickens. Here’s a few pictures I snapped! Sorry I can’t tell you more!
Just look at all those jars!

How long have you been blogging?
About 1 year
What topics do you blog about?
I write about restoring your health by eating like your Grandma did. I work at making it all affordable and practical. We all have limited time and money so my posts tend to be about balancing priorities in adopting a real food diet.
Describe your family for us.
My husband Barry and I have been married for 19 years now. We have 2 grown sons 18 and 24 years old. We live in a little old Grandma house on the edge of a small Texas town were we can raise chickens.
How did you find real food?
Through a happy coincidence! I was shopping Lehman’s catalog for kitchenware and happened to see “Nourishing Traditions” in the book section. I added it on a whim and when I received it was absolutely blown away by what I read. I knew it was right.
What hobbies do you enjoy?
Blogging has been my latest hobby! Prior to that I liked to sew and to read. Also I play acoustic guitar and have taught a few beginner level classes.
If it was your last day on earth, what would you want to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? Junk food totally counts!
I’m not really much of a foodie I guess cause if it were my last day on earth food would be the last thing on my mind! My favorites though would be simple ordinary southern comfort foods.
What are some posts on your blog you’d like to share with my readers?

How/why did you start blogging?
I wanted to share what I’ve learned about traditional diets with everyone, particulary those who may think that healthy eating is too expensive or in general just isn’t for them.
What’s the biggest challenge about running a blog?
Finding the time to write posts definitely.
What do you enjoy most about blogging?
I enjoy hearing from people all over the world about positive changes they are making to their diets.
Do you have any eBooks or classes that readers might be interested in?
I am writing an eBook on the The Granny Plan which I also plan to release as a class so stay tuned!
